Tan is ugly.

Seriously. Why do people wanna be orange? It's so ugly and unhealthy. And don't say "natural tans are okay" cuz they're not. They still make you orange.

I don't understand the obsession with tanning. Seriously ladies, if you want to age prematurely then just tan, because that's what it does. It really accelerates wrinkles and skin cancer.

But don't forget us blacks! We're dark, but naturally, so no hate

i color weird and unevenly, especially on my arms. then on my legs i have small weird ass spots where i have little pigmentation at all (not vitiligo), it's so weird. if i was a different race, i probably wouldnt tan.... my old cheer coach required girls to tan if they weren't his ideal color.

Kayla, my cousin has something similar to that, but on her face. Haha, wow to the cheer coach. I didn't know they could even enforce rules like that

if someone tried to force me to tan, i'd be like 'wahhh my mom had a melanoma, do you want me to die of cancer?'

I wouldn't even join the fucking squad and I would reporthim.

it's really odd. it's just random white spots that never go away!! yeah it wasn't in the rulebook, but he would be disappointed if girls were super pale. it's not like you'd get kicked off for not tanning, he'd just forcefully encourage you to tan a little until you did.

I love being super pale; i actually think it's more attractive than tan. And it makes skin look so soft.

And btw guys, this wasn't meant that dark isn't okay. This is just about how I feel about tanning .

There's pretty girls of every skin tone damnit. Seriously, people need to accept themselves as they are, and try to love just that. Changing your looks isn't worth skin cancer.

seriously. i remember this one girl was like, "i don't care if i get skin cancer, i just want to be tan." what a fucking loser.

I'm sure she'll still think that when she's dying from it. It's kind of like over-straightening your hair. Looks good while you're young, but will wreak treacherous results later.

Definitely. That also pisses me off how girls ruin their beautiful waves/curls to make their hair flat and boring.

I agree totally. Usually when I compliment my friends' hair, it's unstraightened and full and nice. And I tell them it looks good, but they brush it off with "I woke up like this". Yeah, and you look hot that way!

Omgosh, i can't stand it when people tan. it just makes them seem really insecure about skin, they should be really proud of it, and i applaud you bianca for liking your beautiful pale skin. AND I REALLY MEAN IT.
