my macbook is in seriously bad shape. it was the first wave of macbooks and it couldn't really handle snow leopard PLUS cs4 and my other powerful software very well. it didn't have enough RAM, really.

how can you even SURVIVE on a computer from 2000?

nine years is such a huge amount of time for computer science.

have you ever heard of moore's law?

jesus christ, i wasn't criticizing you on your computer.

i'm honestly curious. i study computer science and the progression of computers fascinates me.
moore's law states that the number of transistors per square inch on circuits will twofold about every eighteen months until we reach the point where the electricity will began to jump. you can imagine how much processing power has changed over nine years. the computer is really only a few decades old.

I can tell that it is starting to go.. It is nine years old..haha but I needed a new computer because my mom needed our family computer for work. But I am saving uppp. I am aiming for a mac. But I would be happy with something that was within this decade.. (:

macs really are the best computers ever. saving up sounds like a good plan.

how does it interact with servers? the computer, i mean. do you find that you're stunted by its lack of compatibility with more modern technology?

i wonder if you can get your hands on an old edition of photoshop.
i wouldn't even try, though, it'd be so outdated.
